Anthony Wayne Conn is a 50- something example of having read way too many comic books as a child. He's also a walking case study of the fact that, while being awesome role models, the Frankenstein monster and Santa Claus are terrible resume references.....
When I was a kid growing up in West Union,Ohio in the 1980s, one of the venues that I would purchase back issues of comic books was Ruby's Rummage Shop, basically a tin metal garage that an elderly lady (the aforementioned Ruby) had converted into a makeshift thrift store.

I jokingly tell people why I'm a fan of the show is because it's kinda like looking at a snapshot of my life circa the ages 18-22 (sadly, no one will ever know how close to the truth that is), and.....every person has a "Bubbles" that's part of their circle of friends. Ours was named "Harold".
