Trump’s new 46% tariffs on Vietnamese imports might sound tough, but they’re really just pushing up prices. Even with the tariff, a Vietnam-made sneaker is still way cheaper than one made in the U.S. Unless consumers are ready to drop $180+ for “Made in USA” these policies just hurt buyers.
