Terrified American. I don't like labels, none really fit me all the way. I am a creature of contradiction. I fail sometimes. I keep trying. I just want to raise chickens and goats, somewhere in the country. I want to feel like the world is okay again.

The, 'Swamp': Healthcare, medicine, medical information, disease control, food for children, housing for veterans, voting rights for everyone, safety at work, clean air, water and soil, safe food, national parks citizens have access to, firefighters, safe air travel, allies, affordable eggs and gas, financial assistance for disabled and elderly, a sense of security for anyone not male straight and white, freedom, stability, truth, friends/family you can have a political discussion with, happy days on the internet, the ability to conduct life as normal, job security, employment, inviolate churches, education, trust, joy, peace, comfort, happiness, compassion, empathy, comradery, national pride, respect, equality, peaceful sleep, environmental safety, workplace safety, protection from employers, information, science, literature, art, secure nuclear weapons, disaster relief, truthful news, body autonomy, freedom to love, freedom of religion, liberty, sanity, intelligence, any agency that serves, protects, or uplifts minorities, accurate history, fellowship, military solidarity, law and order, respect for the constitution, reason, common sense, logic, forethought, solace, sanctuary, asylum, prosecution of criminals, humanity, a future for the next generation, safety for children, elected representation, yea, pretty swampy...He sure drained that all away, fast. But he can't bring the price of eggs down? And you still think you are getting paid dontcha? Dump your abuser. Stop letting him hit you. If you need a safe place, you can come to my house. I will beat him to death with my little old lady cane, before I let him smack you around again. Honey, it is for your own good, please, while you are still able, get out of the cycle of abuse. Sad that one of the couple dozen career prosecutors (Edward Sullivan) finally signed Emil Bove’s corrupt motion to dismiss the indictment of NYC Mayor Eric Adams. He rationalized that he was saving the jobs of his younger DOJ colleagues. Nearing retirement, he should’ve forced Bove to fire them all.
