I once had a chance to talk directly to Mouaz Mustafa, the director of SETF (Syrian Emergency Task Force). A compassionate young gentleman. I don't agree with all his views but he gets it right when it comes to Tulsi Gabbard. The world is a mess, but she's not the one to fix it.

Neotankies - and I'm comfortable calling Tulsi one - view regimes, not individual human beings, as the fundamental unit of moral worth. Hence, her response to the burned little girls: "Yeah, sorry about all that but let's try to focus on the regime's rights here, not your own. 1/2

Social media is very interesting. At heart I am neither a Republican nor Democrat, and when I see a politician get it wrong on any issue, I will call them out.
