I do ALSO want a haircut. Lol. But I’ve been joking for ages about walking into a spa and being like “I have a $2,000 limit on this card. What will that buy me that will take 8-12 hours?” and then just…taking a very long nap.

Same, because it likes to be that way no matter how much hairspray and teasing is applied.

And currently my hair is heavy and rather gross. I haven’t cut it in 2 years and it really is WAY too heavy for my head and every time it gets caught in my armpit I want to smash things.

I actually don’t love my hair being heated in any way, and I refuse to pay for my hair to be flat in 10 minutes. Lol. All that sweating and discomfort for nothing.

I want a hair cut.

Ok, what I really want is for someone to scratch my scalp and play with my hair for an hour, and if I have to pay someone to cut my hair to get it then…*sigh* ok fine.

Now I have to decide who I trust with scissors.

LAKE GEORGE WILDFIRE UPDATE: evacuation order is being rescinded! Great news! The fire is not out, but it’s no longer deemed a threat to people or property. Information about staged re-entry is included in the image and alt-text.

• The evacuation order for the Lake George Wildfire will be lifted on Oct. 9 in two phases.

Phase 1 of Re-Entry is Thursday, Oct. 9, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
• for all civics on Aylesford Lake and all civics on North River Road.

Phase 2 of Re-Entry is Thursday, Oct. 9, from noon to 2 p.m.
• for all civics on Lake George and civics 3847-4955 Aylesford Rd. The checkpoint for Aylesford Rd Civics 6128 to 5789 is Fox Mountain Campground (6128).
• All other civics must enter from North River Rd checkpoint (before Old Mill Lane).
• Bring ID for checkpoints.
• Drive safely and expect delays.
