In the 80's I paid a lawyer and others to get a judgment against my kids father carried out. Even then I only received $150 for 2 boys. Not enough to feed, house or clothe them. All paid now.

This is extremely sad. Glad the state is stepping in to help. But I have to wonder if the state has helped others in the past ... like when the guy shot at people at the Gilroy Garlic Festival years ago.
