Retro musings on Warhammer and other tabletop games

There is a new Lost Warhammer post today... but it's not by me! @graemedavis.bsky.social has written a post on his blog about two #Warhammer Fantasy Battle supplements he proposed, but which were not taken forward: Regiments of Renown and Heroes for Hire.

Awesome Lies is now ad-free!

So you'll have to go somewhere else to find baldness cures and great opportunities to work from home.... :)

After almost nine years, my 'Lost Warhammer' blog posts are still digging into the almost bottomless pit of unpublished #Warhammer games and supplements.

If they might be your thing and you haven't read them all already, you can find them here:

There is a long tradition of these pictures among GW writers. The first one I know of is Richard Halliwell in 1978 (drawn by Bryan Ansell for Reaper). There is also the one from Combat 3001 in 1981. Can anyone name the people in that drawing?

Since WordPress is stopping me from blogging at the moment, I wondered whether I should branch out into other media.
