The General/Reckoning would be my pairing of choice here

I looked up which films and which albums and... much as I love both artists I don't really understand why they made those choices or how it's going to work.

(Don't say UB40 there is no Drake without Ali Campbell)

This poses the question of who is the biggest star (post-Beatles at least) whose DNA *has* disappeared from current music?

I love the Gladstone so much, best pub in the Borough area and that's up against some stiff competition

I do think the 'classical' thing is a red herring here despite the occasional operatic flourishes. It's more like a musical with the theatre bit taken out (or a gigantic cake with everything on, and for the same reason you couldn't indulge every day)

Yeah this was my thinking re: going back a day later. Last couple of attempts at the 27th have been a disaster. (Plus there are no loopy guys straight off the rigs who have been drinking for 24hrs straight)

It's been all downhill for Geese since the release of The Stonk

I think I would have enjoyed this more if any of the characters had any personality traits beyond 'sad angry horny good at tennis' - there was a great film in there but none of the characters came across as recognisable human beings

And yet strangely nothing in this film is more anxiety-inducing than the password bit

I'm not sad we missed them

Oh I immediately assumed that one of them would be dead by midnight

At King's Cross at about 11am there was a Santa standing next to an Ali G, both on the cans already

Everyone's a fan of something (subtext - but especially that bloke you don't know very well and got in the office Secret Santa)

I've seen this happen twice, once during something completely innocuous. Then once during a scene in The Years (if you've seen it, you'll know which one). A section of the theatre also required cleaning. The cast dutifully walked off stage like it had happened several times before.

Yes the imagined reader thing is somewhat complicated in the click economy. (ie whatever the NME website is supposed to be it does heavily cover K-pop and I'm assuming there are solid commercial reasons for that)

Hey we all clicked...
