By prosecuting his political enemies on blatantly meritless charges. trump actually makes it less likely that Democrats will prosecute MAGAs for real crimes. He discredits the very idea of public corruption prosecutions.
Much like crying voter fraud when there is none makes it easier to commit it.

If we have learned one thing from the Trump era, it’s that the Law don’t mean diddly squat.
With sufficient will, you can ignore it.
Constant, unrelenting will, an absolute lack of shame or empathy, amoral to the bone, can trample the Law and make fools of all who abide and adhere to it.

Moving Great Lakes water any distance to areas of chronic drought is just too big a task right now. The states near MI already have good water. I wouldn’t worry about it.keeping the Lakes clean is the main thing.

I’ve been living in this country more than 70 years, and there has never been a time when Americans did not try to impose their political beliefs with lethal violence, either here or somewhere else.
