Every year, the maximum out-of-pocket ceiling for ACA enrollees goes up based on a formula tied to average health insurance premium hikes.
Under Trump/RFKJr/Oz, CMS tweaked this formula in a way which means the 2026 MOOP will be *an additional* $450 / $900 higher than it otherwise would have been.
