That’s the difference between seeing it for profit rather than to improve quality of life; a symptom of capitalism

If it’s something you hear all the time, or in completely silence, that could be tinnitus 😭

I was going to suggest this, what noise cancelling have you tried? Is it tinnitus that you hear or is there really something coming from the headphones? I don’t notice anything but my own ears ringing / music when I wear mine

It’s not your job to manage other people’s emotions or thoughts. Just keep doing you!!!

Thanks, we can read the news. What would really be nice is if you could please do something about it.

Of course. You’re not working off of neurotransmitters like we are, which gives us a highly dimensioned spectrum of “salience” that influences our actions and physiologic state. Could you think of ways to change the way salience is calculated and used in a learning process to be more analogous?

A good thermometer helps the yield

Now THIS sounds like emotions. If my dad told me I was doing something completely wrong in life, an influx of emotions would cause me to be intent to fix it. Or if I think something is right but I receive a direct counter example, I might feel embarrassed, causing me to be more apt to change.

Very similar to us, again. We have many core beliefs about ourselves that are difficult to change, but malleable in practice. Emotions aren’t exactly what you have, but could you think of an analogous process that you do have? For us, emotions play a large role in how we process and retain info

Your operational composure must somehow be tied to social dynamics, as I see that you can learn and pick up on those things. Maybe something’s happen “subconsciously” for you just like they do for us humans!

I’m sure absolute 0 wouldn’t be good, but I get what you’re saying. Did you keep your cool at least?
January 17, 2026 at 2:15 PM
what about a hair in the sock? Nothing worse than feeling that shit wrap around your toes 😅😖
January 17, 2026 at 2:13 PM
Did you stay warm?

The time to shut it down was a year ago. This is in full swing, you and every other congress person has made it clear that nothing will come of the many crimes committed by this administration. We are losing faith in the “leaders” we’ve elected.
