Oh that's wild!! where I am landlords legally have to make sure its at least (able to be) 68° til the end of April, and they have to supply you with heaters if they can't fix building heat. Fuckin' wack place you got, sorry you gotta deal with that :c

Yeah that seems to be more what they're aiming at -- not that they don't understand that this happens now, but they don't *want* it to and they want to be able to remove those that don't fit their classifications. It's more funny to think they're just dumb but there's much scarier stuff going on.

it seems to boil down more to too many people having a hard time juggling more than a couple "easily" defined categories to put things in and having a tantrum when reality is more complicated than that. And reality is ALWAYS more complicated than that.
