He's in a very dark purple space, with a soft spotlight on him. the chair is wood with a high back, dark red velvet upholstery, a carved design on the planks that connect the legs, and a circular knit blanket laid over the back. The cat is sitting atop a pillow. in the painting this references, the jester is sitting with his elbows on the arms and his hands clasped in contemplation, but in this drawing the cat is too small to do that, so his forearms are resting on the chair arms. he's slouching, has a bit of a paunchy belly, and his face is all grumpy. his legs and feet, of course, don't even come close to touching the ground, and they dangle out in front of him.

I've been preping something for a while and I've been learning how the sprites worked for the 8-Bit. These are test before knowing the NES only can use 4 pallets of 3 colors each for sprites!!!
