Everything I was on that other site. Still busy and Black too.
I went to 3 stores (Giant, Costco, and Giant again) to feed these people for a weekend.

My Dad went to the Safeway and bought a gallon of tea and some sausage biscuits to get through the weekend.

That is why I can't let him fend for himself.

I'm impressed that Prof. Laurence Tribe watched that entire hearing to offer such in-depth analysis. He's practically given a play-by-play.

When we said that ICE was just the modern incarnation of the slave patrol, the Klan, and the Gestapo folks said we were being hyperbolic.

Not so much anymore.

Louansee Moua says ICE agents came to her brother-in-law’s apartment, handcuffed him and forced him outside in freezing weather in boxers.

She says Saly, a U.S. citizen, was released after they realized “he had no criminal history and no reason to be detained.”

Trump "protects" Minnesotans the same way Putin "protects" Ukraine, or the same way the Taliban "protects" women. Think about it.

I keep seeing posts stating that ICE cannot enter your home or a private business without a judicial warrant. While that is legally correct, in reality ICE routinely violates the law by forcing their way in, often by smashing down doors, before violently assaulting people.

Trumpism is fascism.

German Jews were citizens of Germany at the start of 1933. By the end of 1933, the Nazis had
removed citizenship from naturalized citizen Jews.

In 1935, all German Jews were fully stripped of their German citizenship.

Citizenship under dictatorships is contingent for targeted minorities.

The "worst problem you've never heard of" is the leading cause of Black land loss in this country.

Over the years, it's seen Black families stripped of hundreds of billions of dollars in land. It's called "heirs' property."

In America you drop your kid off at school, get your brains blown out on the ride home, then the Vice President drops everything for a week to call you a terrorist, to slander your family, to protect the circumstances that led to your death so they can do it again. It is government by Alex Jones.

But will he be denied Holy Eucharist and publicly rebuked the way President Biden and Speaker Pelosi were? They were punished for votes. He speaks for a Regime that has committed these atrocities and the Church is just editorializing its disapproval?
Editorial in the National Catholic Reporter: "The vice president's comments justifying the death of Renee Good are a moral stain on the collective witness of our Catholic faith. His repeated attempts to blame Good for her own death are fundamentally incompatible with the Gospel."

If the only limit to this menace is his own sense of morality, then there isn't a limit. He thinks he is omnipotent and the people who surround him enable that mindset.

The danger isn't in his delusion; it is in our acquiescence to his rantings. Greek mythology has a word for this: hubris.

They are going to frame ANY act of dissent as inciting violence against law enforcement. If you aren't a student of history, that is the very same tactic & narrative that was used against the Civil Rights Movement.

The line from Viola Liuzzo to Heather Heyer to Renee Nicole Good is straight.
