By far, kepano (Steph Ango) is my favorite CEO. Thanks @obsidian.md for a great, privacy-first app and for not rushing to put AI into it. I also love the file-over-app philosophy!

Finally got around to publishing a summary of my phd thesis. Stuff about pluralism, economics, philosophy of science.

And now for something completely different. We have released our band's (Nurses Care) 1998 studio recordings on Spotify. Unedited & raw. Enjoy! (I am playing the bass guitar) open.spotify.com/album/3Qnqp1... (Also avaible on other streaming platforms.)

We’ve also got a book review symposium coming up!

Another summer read: the revised edition of Daniel Hausman’s The Inexact and Separate Science of Economics. First read it as a PhD student many years ago—learned a lot. Still excellent, though I wish it engaged more with recent philosophy of science.

I finally read The Myth of the Entrepreneurial State by McCloskey & Mingardi. I didn’t like the argumentative style, but the critique of Mazzucato is serious. If you can get past the tone, it’s worth reading.

Diane Coyle's talk was great and created even more appetite to read her most recent book, The Measure of Progress.

I'm now reading the book and can confirm it's a must-read for anyone interested in economics and the economy.

Almost ready for publication: our chapter in the forthcoming Edward Elgar Handbook for Teaching Philosophy to Economists. We reflect on the challenges of teaching a large, compulsory PoE course in an econ department—and offer some practical suggestions.
