Bird in a flowering Bough.

Your tree, beautiful bough.

It flourishes
Whilst I wither beneath
This heavy grief.

Curse you death!
You sneaking thief.

Always reminding Life Is transitory and too Brief.

If you get caught up
In this and that,

Take a break.
Give your mind a Moment for a retake.

A deep breath. You'll
Take to Know and be Still.

Break the chains of
Manipulation. Stop the rumination

Why take on all this
Tribulation.

This morning I went out to get in my 3,000
Steps. I witnessed fog
all around me.
Now you can too.

When you retire your
Work friends forget you.

When you get old
No one cares or visits.

No wonder old people
Feel abused and left to fend for themselves.

It's cold up there, but warm down here.

Spent the morning replacing the fill valve in the toilet tank. I came home from my beloved wife's funeral to discover a minor flood in the bathroom. Went out this am to buy a Korky fill valve. Instructions were beautifully illustrated.
It was a snap job. Saved $$$ on plumbing fee!

Your tree that you Were so proud of.
You Loved it because it Brought you joy.
You aren't here now to Savour it's fruitfulness,
To cherish and enjoy.
I move forward and Then backward.
My head still reels
From the loss.
Oft' times I dream of You.

Her flowers are blooming.

But she's not here to enjoy them.

But She thrives in my memory and my heart.

Yes, we are apart.

I set out to discover my Indigenous ancestors. Before that project began, I had to find my Castilian ancestors who had married Indian women.
This work contains my journey via genealogy and DNA. It's a how to and must have, for begining and experienced genealogists.

He sits by the wayside
Beneath a tree.

Impervious to the push - pull of this and that.

He manifests all the joy and good health

That is his due. A leaf falls... He smiles.

Where is your courage?
Is it strong or weak?
Your life shrinks
Or expands.
Depending where your
Courage sits.

Photography, for me, is another form of Haiku. It illustrates without words the not so passive stillness within nature. One of my tadpoles leaving the homestead.

Still struggling with survivor's legalities despite making some minor headways.
Time has been limited to attending to the aforementioned.
Took some new images of white orchids.
Enjoy.

I acquired a new phone at a price I couldn't pass up. I experimented with this shot. I never use monochrome photography when capturing images of flowers. In doing so, I discovered flowers have an inner light.
