So very true. We have to make sure to elect officials to Congress and judges to the bench who believe in this concept, or it (and the Constitution) will fail.

The organizer of my monthly protest wants me to help make an ICE agent costume for a skit that will be performed. She asked for an ICE sign, but also a badge. Do ICE agents wear badges? I only remember the word ICE in white letters on a black vest.

Very best of luck. May I suggest something that will, at the very least, help lower blood pressure and keep you calm? The day of the procedure, start doing meditative breathing, which is a slow, even breath. Concentrate on that. Has worked for me when I've undergone surgery.

LAW should state that NO members of Congress get paid during a shutdown, and that they are REQUIRED to remain at the Capitol until they have hashed out a budget or continuing resolution.

When he is gone, Congress (likely the Blue one that will come in) needs to curtail the use of executive orders. And needs to strengthen laws requiring Congressional oversight before money is spent or actions taken.
