Excited to see this in print with Cambridge University Press. A fantastic new volume on Anticolonialism and Social thought (Ed’s): Julian Go and Anaheed Al-Hardan. My contribution includes an intellectual history of Zweledinga Pallo Jordan drawing from archival work and an oral history interview.

The trouble with electronic student evaluation questionnaires is that they eliminate creativity. For example I once saw a hand written questionnaire in which the student objected to the lecturer’s paisley body warmer he always lectured in and drew a helpful illustration to support his complaint.

Arabic Calligraphy. Joys of a new leisure pursuit . The qalam ( reed pen) might sometime be dipped in ink mid-way of completing a letter and requires a degree like precision. Still a novice but very therapeutic!
