Grief is hard. Grief about someone whom you should never have to do without is even worse. This longing to send them a text or call them while you watch the same show is melancholy personified. It is drowning in the want of another person you once called home.... for the second time in my life.

Six years ago this week I had my first reading with Baba. I am three months away from completing my transition year as a Priestess of Sango. This journey has given me so much peace, a beautiful community and allowed me to realize the power and strength I have within me. KABISILEO! MOJUBAR SANGO!
