He had a date :(
Excellent movie, really nice pacing. I loved the music too. I think the villain could've been portrayed better thought. He seemed kinda lackluster.

Thor (2011)

Probably my least watched MCU-MCU movie. I watched it last like 6 years ago. Really liked it, minus the action sequences, those were terrible. Can't believe how much Waititi ruined Thor in the sequels, and how great Loki's redemption arc is.

X-Men: First Class

This had the potential to be so good but they ruined it to make it a stereotypical superhero team up movie. Mystique was also terribly written. Certified Fox Studios moment.

Iron Man 2

I've watched this movie a dozen times and it's still so good. I never realized how many abrubt-seeming cuts there are but it really helps with the story so I don't mind. Pretty good classic superhero movie overall. Nothing TOO impressive tho.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine

This was so incredibly mid. So many wasted characters. It's like if Sony made a Marvel movie. It was also really boring to watch.

Iron Man (2008)

Classic. Love the music. I must've rewatched this more than 8-9 times, but its still enjoyable. Hot take, I like the Endgame suit, esp what progress got him to that stage. I realized that you see his sacrifice-"skills" wayy before endgame.

The Incredible Hulk (2008)

Mark Ruffallo's Hulk looks so much better. Also, the Tony Stark cameo made no sense. I'm glad most of the movie was retconned. Overall it kept my attention throughout, but I walked away feeling kinda bored and underwhelmed.

Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007)

Having been spoilt by FF:FS, this movie seems pretty bad. The Silver Surfer felt pretty underwhelming, and Galactus being a dust cloud was really sad. Sue was also terribly written and Johnny was annoying.

Spider-Man 3 (2007)

What an amazing movie. I think I like this trilogy more than Tom's, which I feel is not what spider-man was meant to be. The friendly neighborhood spidey actually has a message and is really touching. Really like the entire trilogy.

Ghost Rider (2007)

If I had a nickel for every time a man named Johnny had fiery superpowers in the MCU, I'd have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot but its weird that its happened twice. Good story, bad execution. Could've been much better with good writing.

Aside from the wasted characters, I liked the movie. Peak early-2000s superhero movie vibe with leather jackets and character design. Definitely cutting points for badly written female characters though.

Fantastic Four (2005)

Having watched F4:FS, I see the lack of good character development. Sue is a terribly written female character and Johnny is just a playboy (he's supposed to be a scientist too). Plot is pretty good, and the movie isn't boring.

Elektra (2005)

What an insanely boring movie. Even after watching the whole movie (and having watched Netflix's Daredevil and Iron Fist) I have no clue what the plot was, especially with The Hand. All the characters had 0 development very boring.

Blade: Trinity (2004)

I'd say this was the best one of the trilogy. I was really surprised that Ryan Reynolds was in this, and seeing his performance, I'm sure this is what got him cast as Deadpool. I did feel that the focus was less on Blade this time tho

Such a good movieee. It still holds up today. The full CG scenes were very interesting, its cool to see how far we've come in terms of CGI. The storyline and setup for the sequel were really good. Alfred Molina was 🤌🫡

X2: X-Men United (2003)

This was a really good movie! Great acting throughout, and an interesting story with good setups and arcs. While I don't like the costumes, they're peak early 2000s dark and gritty superhero movie costumes of the time.

Ignoring the terrible acting, the first half of the movie was pretty good and really well paced. The second half was kinda slow and predictable.
I have a new appreciation for Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio's acting, they're so good 🤌

This movie should've been half the length and it'd actually be a good movie. It was just bluff after bluff after bluff by the heroes and villains. Some predictable, some not but it just became boring at one point. Watchable, but boring.

What even was this💀. I can see why it never released. It was really hard to follow, and was so dark throughout so you could barely see anything. Doom looked amazing though. Also was better than Captain America 1944 so,

This was a surprisingly decent movie. Howard and Darcy together in What If...? was already weird, but seeing a human actor intimate with a creepy duck animatronic was wildly uncomfortable. What was George Lucas on when he made this 💀

This was such an insanely boring show. I watched 3 episodes. You could replace Captain America with any other superhero and this show wouldn't be any different. One thing I liked though was that Captain America had a gun lol. rawrrr🦅🦅🇺🇸🇺🇸

Such a good movie.
The pacing was so good. Willem Defoe really stole the show though.
One interesting observation was that even though Tom Holland and Tobey McGuire are almost the same height, Tobey's spiderman looks MUCH taller🤔

Decent movie overall. I think it really sets the vibe for how most 2000s superhero movies were. Decent VFX too.
