Look, I really *really* don’t want to defend this FO, but he seems to have been fine for 2 years before that breakout? And even this year, 1 G and 5 A in 6 starts isn’t *terrible*, if he’s still getting good chances one of the core tenets to good transfers is buying after the poor-finishing years

100% agree. I will always fondly remember the time he got me to try PB&J&M (and mustard) as a running online bit. Was always there to lend a fun and creative voice to DC sports and/or whatever he chose to blog about (I very much miss the bog days)

Yep exactly. Late in the cycle, no AD, clock is ticking before the 4/7 deadline (have to have players committed by then from the portal to pay them NIL), the search wasn’t exactly set up for success to begin with.

He’s both:
1) a better coach than the prior two guys, esp if he can rediscover his VT offense
2) maddeningly uninspiring with real question marks even with a huge NIL budget at A&M
But for a search without an AD I don’t know what fans can expect. They could have done worse imo

Yeah I know she was hurt, maybe the mins will come when she’s 100%? Long season! And hard to argue when the wins are flowing. She was talking about the Croatia trip and how the group really bonded, very very cool and hope it shows throughout the year

Sat next to Bri McDaniel at a basketball kickoff event and she went from “seems pretty cool, good ball player” to “maybe my fav MD athlete ever?” over the course of dinner. Such an awesome person. They look great this year!! Men need to take care of business tonight 🤞

Been good man!! Likewise, it’s been way too long. Good to have a non-hellscape to share in the highs (Arsenal, hopefully soon) and lows (MD sports, hopefully short lived)
