They can do that in their official capacity. We can be noisy about all things LGBTQ in our unofficial capacity. I have faith in New York, where graffiti became glorious and spray-can Michelangelos abound. If I were in the Village, I'd ask every home and business to put a Q and a T in the window.

My friend, who prefers to remain anonymous, gives SO MUCH to queer, trans, Black, and brown folks in community. Their work supports the joy, resilience, and empowerment of many, and they would be the last to ask for help. Any amount would be helpful to help with access to safe and secure housing.
