#AzaPlaysBlakeManor it's definitely eyecatching and memorable but that's from throwing a lot of glitter at it (voice acting, animation, etc), not from amazing skill put in it. it's great aesthetics but in terms of the game itself, so far it's just a Totally Okay game, not a masterpiece. aza hot take

found the context, which at least Was Available At That Point In Time, i just hadn't talked to the right person asking about the right thing yet. very foreseeable oversight though :( all i did was walk around exploring the map while waiting for breakfast

(and something I found with zero context was registered with extremely specific title and description in my inventory, and I have no idea where "i" got that context from! 😔)

(first i swapped "note" for "letter" which didn't work because it was referring to a different item, and second the game pushed me to make an assumption I wasn't going to make on the victim, but in both cases I had so few options that even worked grammatically I got pushed to the solution anyway.)

#AzaPlaysBlakeManor ok, obviously it looks great and is super cool and full of details and spoopy, but i don't like ... basically any of the mechanics. The time system is clever but discourages me from exploring and reading flavour text, and both times forming a Hypothesis was clunky and leading.

ok where is your F key, bc that is technically doable but still a very strange position to me

if i'm playing with keyboard and moving with keyboard i want to be able to move around while doing things (and ESPECIALLY if the camera can move, i want to be able to move the camera while walking or searching for my interaction targets). do not use my walking finger for fifty thousand commands!!

it's an uncomfortable extension, it gets my fingers out of the directional arrows position, it's an especially weird combination when i also have to move the cursor around with my mouse to select the thing to interact with, my thumb is on the space bar why can't i just use the space bar
