I wonder, too, what they thought. An oath to the Constitution will be weighed against a command from the Commander in Chief. I’m not so sure the Constitution will come first.

I DO believe that Trump will try to suspend elections in 2026 and definitely in 2028. But I don’t see that as defeatist. We’ll be hitting the streets in protest. We’ll be using that strong arm tactic to bring democracy back to the US.

It’s our voters that the world can’t trust. I don’t trust them either. Knowing the chaos of Trump 1.0, they voted him back in? Even if we get a sane president in 2028, MAGAs will always be ready to vote for a Trump-like idiot in the future.

Your sane voice usually gives me hope. Not this time. I’m lower than ever. Yes, there are plenty of people and sites I trust for facts. The facts show that Trump 2 is so much more cruel, destructive, and vindictive than ever. Unless the courts and the Senate step up, the damage will be catastrophic.
