The stupidity is a feature, not a bug. Like browbeating the Fed to lower interest rates when the actions taken have the opposite effect by rattling bond markets. Or trying to force oil companies to invest $100 b in a place they don’t want to invest because you want low oil prices and they don’t.

Powell’s statement was a clear & unexpectedly tough response. Tillis coming out of the gate pretty hard was a good step & will encourage/embolden others (Murkowski out with good statement). Like @captmarkkelly.bsky.social says, “courage is contagious.” Time for biz leaders to stand up, speak out.

Yeah that makes more & more sense. Their guy is falling apart in real time in front of us and they need the cult to hold on. Vance cannot command the same loyalty because he’s so unlikeable & weak. Miller is nothing without Trump because he’s so deranged the others know it. It will be a viper pit.

This is where Congress could exert its weight and tell him they are not funding or approving a Greenland takeover. But we know how weak the men of the GOP are so it’s not something to hope for, let alone count on.

Yeah run blocking not great 2nd half but they get to 3rd and short and he calls shot plays downfield instead of runs or short, quick passes to get first downs. Love was hounded in 2nd half and they keep doing same thing over and over. It’s a pattern.
