this is something that I think bears repeating as always, and I know I've said things of the like before, but as an encourager I feel like I want people to know where I stand repeatedly and often. Just as often as I say "I wanna touch tummy", there's also this sentiment.

reminder

whether you are healthy or not does not determine your worth as a person

and people who leap to make assumptions about you based on the shape of your body are just stuck in a shitty mindset, they do not deserve a second thought

gaining weight involves risk, yes. we're adults here, and we know that. when you choose to take on that risk and gain regardless of the risks, it's your right to do so, just as it is your right to stop or even reverse course if you ever want to for ANY reason

as far as I believe, as long as the pleasure of it outweighs the negatives, go for it. but it is always YOUR decision to grow or not. I may be enthusiastic about weight gain because I think choosing to grow on purpose is a powerful, wonderful, beautiful thing, but I will always respect individual choice
