Boss where I used to work would never accept I'm an anti social, non people liking person. I worked in sales and did well, but absolutely no desire to socialise with work colleagues.

Told him I didn't need him to believe it - so long as I got on at work and sold stuff.

Got someone on my course who has a very short attention span - anything over about 20 minutes and he's gone. He is undoubtedly good at his job - but his company sending him on a 3 day classroom based course isn't fair on anyone.

Companies should not expect people to be good at everything.

This came up in conversation at work today. For the purposes of work I can get on with most folk whether I like them or not but we have a new to us trainer who covers odd things for us and I just don't like him. Never done me any harm - but the witch in me says don't trust him.

As a photographist (I lack all and any artistic skill) I use Photoshop but claim it as a business expense.

I've plenty of imported brushes as well as two sets of my own creation and they've survived every upgrade?

When I worked in the print industry we 'printed' the business cards for a clothing company called Ghost. The logo was just die stamped on the card - very effective.

Not looking for business here but I think more people should - even just the basics of CPR and defib.

All of my students over the last 10 years or so have been there because work have sent them - none have turned up in their own right.
