The Focused Update recommends risk-based LDL-C lowering, highlights greater benefit in youth, and adopts SCORE2 and SCORE2-OP to estimate both fatal and non-fatal events up to age 89, with risk thresholds roughly doubled to reflect higher non-fatal event rates. eas.to/guidelines-2...
