When I think of Syria, I see this little boy- his little body on the shore, a reminder of war’s innocent victims. Iranian and Pakistani proxy regimes are behind so much of this devastation. How much longer must children pay the price for their regional games?

Afghanistan is the poem carved in blood, its soil rich with the sacrifices of generations. I trust no foreign word- only the voice of our people will heal its wounds.

In Herat, women are banned from having bank accounts. Across Afghanistan, homes must black out windows, and new buildings can’t have windows facing neighbors. This isn’t religion- it’s fear. Fear of women so they suffocate a nation.

No Afghan with honor should ever accept help from Pakistan’s ISI. The same hand that spilled blood and destroyed a nation to rubble. Anyone who does is the same as the enemies that destroyed our nation repeatedly. They are traitors- Only loyalty to Afghanistan!

The Citadel of Herat in Afghanistan, originally built around 330 BC, has served as a key headquarters for various ancient empires, enduring numerous destructions and rebuilds. It was fully renovated between 2006 and 2011.
