That is the fight we are in currently. The left is trying to hold the remnants of our Democracy together. While trump tries multiple paths to overturn the tables ending the game so he can remain king until he gets bored.

In a way trump targeting Antifa is similar to us demanding the Epstein files. While there likely are incriminating files they will never be released which is what makes demanding them work against them. They will use Antifa in the same way demanding they are the hidden villain behind everything.

Serious recommendation going forward on protests. I say this as a photographer/videographer. Have someone at any protest assigned to doing to filming the protest. Have them stay clear of the front line but somewhere they can film everything. trump is going to be lying. We need proof we are peaceful.

Part of why they staged that helicopter raid on the apartment complex was so they could get "cool" footage for promotion videos to recruit more animals for ICE. They want people drawn to the cruelty for ICE. Because ICE is their Temu Gestapo.

I think rather than going for gains the bulk of the establishment is seeing this time as one to keep their heads down to avoid bringing negative attention. They still think victory comes by winning over the right. Rather than waking up the vast nonvoting public.

I simply do not place most people on pedestals. They have a bad habit of falling off and breaking. People are complex things and not everything about them is going to align with you. But still we pull together as a whole and that includes the flaws. It is over time that we correct the flaws.

All of the regimes you described were felled by war. What you are describing is violent revolution. And to achieve that you are going to need a massive number of people sign on for the conflict. And you could have had them voting for reform instead. If you have the numbers for war you can reform.
