John Swasey handled her character w/ such care and respect & I am so genuinely grateful to him & Patrick, our engineer, for it. I’m PROUD to have voiced her and to have been a part of this insanely fun show.

She is also STRONG in herself but she is a STRONG fighter/wielder of magic, and BADASS, and even has a canonical ON SCREEN boyfriend in Adam Gibbs’ Cedric who is also canonically stated himself to be queer and in love with Anna. Outside of BL or other queer shows this is unheard of!

The fact she is a canonically trans character who isn’t just part of this show but a key player in it, who is not just confident in who she is but is also ACCEPTED by her peers and RESPECTED but them is astonishing. She isn’t there as a joke but as an important member of their team/family.
