Same. Playing with oldies and realizing the old sim care home needs a serperate roll for a cook as the staff can't handle cleaning and cooking at once. In fact, they would rather swim. Glad to know I get to look for more of the same when I check out kids camps! 🥲

I may have to try setting the staff to cook in the time slot before dinner. Then the food would be ready without a caterer being brought in. BRB, let me check.

I know, the caterer is counter productive. I could have my host sim handle it and that would sort things out. Its just that the staff start cooking and serving at the same time the old folks are coming for dinner and then EVERYONE is trying to cook dinner.

Running an old folks home just like I always wanted. In the Sims. The old farts are cranky. When you feed them a steady diet of franks and beans, I really do me "old farts."

In 2 sim days of testing, I can say that getting a caterer to serve meals is much more effective than asking staff to do it.

Opened my Sims game twice. Had the advertising overlay get stuck on blue overlay mode and now you can't play twice. The full screen advertisements are the worst choice in this game.

Mucking about updating my senior home in hopes it can actually be used that way soon. This was such a fun build. The lady who runs the place is an immortal and Good vampire. I'm interested to let her really be a host for the oldies for once.

I also have this dreadful realization that I'm going to feel obliged to go back through a bunch of old community lot builds of mine for updates once the Adventure pack comes out. Not to make them custom venues, but to add in exercise bikes, playgrounds, and in ground hot tubs as appropriate 🙃

You know, with the upcoming pack I can actually run my senior home as a senior home. On a week by week basis. My friendly, immortal, vampire that owns the place will be delighted.

I tried making it into apartments before, but once I realized you needed cheats for more than 6 apt, I stopped.

Ogra just gave birth to her 7th nooboo. I hit randomize on the good ole' WW woohooo options. Came up with the most boring missionary style and the bored look Ogra turned on me for it? 4th wall breaking Sim. "Yeah yeah, lets get this over with."

My oldest Ogre Baby aged up and moved out. This is the first move out! Bye, Leanne! I'm going to miss how much child rearing you were doing for us!

In other notes, this is how I find all of the broken CC that I didn't know was broken until I got into live mode. Play Ogre CAS, purge CC. Understood.
