While Supernova and Supernova 2 are among the best games in the series, I started with the ps1 games, and I love 3rd to 5th mix for their song selection. Probably one of the things that molded my music taste.

My story with RPGs is kinda weird. Between Pkmn and Chrono Trigger, while I was having fun with them, soon enough new titles started to set the quality bar much higher with their mechanics, to the point that basic turn-based was soon not enough.
On top of that, this game is full of charm

A successor to Sonic Robo Blast 2 Kart, which is also still active and just as good. Because not every game has to be paid, but I'd certainly pay for this if it was official.

I prefer it over Terraria even if I need to mod it - it's prettier, less punishing, and the focus is NOT on fighting a trillion bosses.

I had a demo of this back in dem olde days and it played like garbage FPS-wise, but the game had so much charm I'm glad to have a copy on Steam now. Very simple and satisfying two weapon system and a combinated attack.
