CV is a wild mess but I wouldn't have it any other way. It was a beautiful mess before RE went ultra gritty and there hasn't been anything quite like it.

CV had the controls of a tank to the point the camera would literally get caught on corners.
I vividly remember losing my mind in the prison island because the damn camera wouldnt move right so could get a proper shot it. It was rage induced.

I played both, Wesker is a plot twist in CV but he doesn't have to many cut scenes and is mainly explored through lab notes. You mainly learn the Wesker family didn't stop at the mansion.
CVX gives him so much more air time and fixes the god awful controls CV was infamous for.

Code Veronica as a whole was one major acid trip that just...Kept getting weird! Jumping from the prison island to the artic base, the twins (need I say more?) And just when you think you have a handle on things Wesker is back!

It's a challenge to accept valid criticism and ignore the rest. The best thing I've learned to is throw your work out into the void and run away giggling about how much you like it.
You can't please everyone, but you can alway walk away beaming in pride about a job well done.
