I had “Smash it Up” on tape by recording a Friday radio show on Rice University’s station KTRU (S&M show). Also had Spizzenergi’s “Soldier, soldier” so must have been 1981. Played that tape till it broke in a cassette player in a John Deere tractor in Oklahoma…

I loved attending meals with my Jewish girlfriend’s family in New Jersey. So much talking, yelling, and laughter. In comparison, my relatives were quiet and the men spent their time watching sports on tv.

I’m only familiar with his work with Jarrett and Peacock. No doubt I’ve heard him elsewhere. Outstanding drummer.
