People who I am close with ask "why aren't people organized" then look like this when I ask if they are organized

As lots of other people pointed out, it was mostly due to gender/gendered coding. "Hysterical" was practically on loop at this time.

There were plenty of people who did, and they were maligned for all kinds of reasons.

I don't disagree with that, we do basic and applied science for good reason, even where it looks like we have solid answers. I replied because I read the comment to imply that there are causes and/or asking for proof of a negative.

I mean, they basically stated a null hypothesis. If you want it stated accurately in common parlance we have no evidence that there are environmental causes of autism.

Remember the promise to make the government efficient and/or operate like a business? Because the opposite of that is happening here

Not a whole lot, it's pretty quiet in here. Which makes it weird to feel stressed and not be able to articulate why, or realize that I'm not hearing my words before I'm saying them.
