That’s sort of my point though- should one party be allowed to hold ‘you will pass my legislation or else’ over another party during coalition agreements? Because it bypasses the democratic process.

This govt lives for generating policy that does not reflect scientific reality or long term sustainability. There is so much money to be made in renewable energy development, you’d think they’d jump at it. But, I guess, the single brain cell they share for decision making is burnt out.

This govt has created more debt in 2 years than Labour did in 6 years. It has given away so much of our money that there isn’t much left to actually run the country’s public services. Surely, giving away money before working out how much you need to run things is SOME form of legal negligence.

2/2 Share this. Because Herald wrote something on it but paywalled it. #nzpol Also, I don’t understand how this kind of wreckless behaviour isn’t an immediately no-confidence type offence. They’ve thrown away our money to corporates then blamed Labour for the current austerity.
