Today I started packing for my trip to Painted Desert Fur Con. Since Arizona Fur Con folded this is my first major anthro convention in over a year. Can't wait to go!

The Burly Bear is a small craft shop about three hours north east of me. Its human owner can often be found out front carving bear statues and furniture out of wood with a chainsaw but there are times when that's reversed as this little trinket shows. ;-D

I've been spending a lot of time recently playing a new game called "Bear Avenger". You're a hunter in this one just like in the "Buck Hunter" games but you're a bear hunting humans and are given some comical weapons (like slingshots and stink bombs) to do it. It's loads of fun!

Spent time after my shift today shopping and trying on holiday sweaters. Man, did i see some tacky ones! Wish that Wet Willie's could have put on a tackiest holiday sweater contest otherwise I'd have handily won. ;-D

Hibernate this time of year? Me? Heck no! There's too much to do and to see than to spend it sleeping! (Though I do admit, looking down at my rather prominent belly, that I've got the prep work for hibernation down to a science. ;D)

Recently found out about a collectable card game called Lorcana (think Magic The Gathering with Disney characters). Imagine my delight to find out that some of the cards in the game feature my hero Baloo. I couldn't resist picking some up and here are the first to arrive.

Today I went shopping for mama and papabear. Bought mamabear a subscription to Honey of the Month Club (monthly deliveries of the world's best honey) and papabear is getting a certificate good for a license at his favorite fishing hole. Can't wait to give them out!

I am only cub and love the solitude and attention that comes with such a position. There are times however when I wonder how it would be to have a brother or a sister (as far as mama and papa bear were concerned, they tried for many years but such was not to be).

This weekend Wet Willie's is turning 17 so we're having a party at a nearby beach. (A beach party in the dead of winter? Why not? I hosted Christmas in July sets when I worked at Totally 80s so why not the reverse?)

Looking at some of the anthro picture galleries I see that Zootopia 2's Pawbert Lynxley has emerged as quite a sex symbol and a superstar. (Let's leave it to that, shall we? Some examples of pictures of him would break the rating.;-D)

Today I did a set with the club's owner (or at least one of them). It went very well. She began by saying to me, "I've heard good things about you!" and then praised my work several times throughout the set. On top of that she was a generous tipper! *such bliss!*

Recently read about a raccoon who broke into a store and helped himself to booze until he passed out. I know stealing is wrong but I can't help but feel sorry for the little feller because of the *MASSIVE* hangover he'll be waking up with. *OUCH!*

My birthday's going quietly. Went out and had breakfast at my favorite eatery (Black Bear Diner) before coming home, popping some popcorn and playing arcade games until my fingerclaws were sore. Nice and quiet, just the way i like it.
