I've been a liberal since I voted for Carter in '76, with the exception of voting for Reagan in '80 (I bought into his💩 , but woke up quickly). I'm encouraged by a new generation of Democrats who are not afraid to stand up for what they believe in.
Hence my comment.

I'm equally encouraged by the replies to this post by Democrats as I am of Mr. Clayton's speech.
Dems have been too quick to jump on a new candidate's bandwagon without vetting them. The healthy skepticism I see in the replies is encouraging and way overdue. 🇺🇸

I don't think that moderates are as moderate and scared of fighting back as they're portrayed to be.
An effective leader can galvanize a wide spectrum of voters. As much as I hate to admit it, Trump did exactly that with some Obama and Bernie voters. People are craving change.
