SPR "fixed" it this morning so mission accomplished I guess 🙄

The fence is open in multiple places now. Yesterday afternoon people were out enjoying the wintery sun, chatting, and letting dogs bound around. Sure looked like an open park! Just need SPR to come pick up their rusty piece of trash around the perimeter... Maybe Find It Fix It will help.

Fun fact: there hasn't ever been any official physical signage at Seven Hills itself about the closure over these four months of fenced-off public space -- the fence just appeared one day. According to SPR, the closure officially ended a week ago. 🧐

Is there any chance these have been / are being recorded? I would be thrilled to be able to watch later, as I missed the first and can't come tomorrow 😭

One time I was put on a bus because (and I swear this is real) they found like a biiiiiig crack in an Amtrak Cascades train car. Had to check all the rest of the train cars -- all of them! -- for cranks. Oopsie doopsie! Please enjoy this bus!

At one point Ronson interviews a CEO who is gleefully describing how he loves to fire his employees "in very funny ways," and Ronson realizes that the CEO's mansion and grounds are packed with paintings and sculptures of -- EXCLUSIVELY -- predators killing prey animals.

I almost never stop thinking about the section in Jon Ronson's "The Psychopath Test" where he gets into how many CEOs identify with an uncomfortable number of clinical characteristics of psychopathy -- they just reinterpret those personality traits as leadership.
