text of my pretend response: For the first 3 days, I was on approved leave to attend to family matters. So basically, none of your business. But since you asked: I hugged my son and my grandson Celebrated with my husband Played with my cats Did BOTH my freaking jobs Followed along while an unelected sociopath with his posse of incelic misanthropes continued to dismantle the government, all while unapproved by congress or the voters Continued to have less than charitable thoughts toward the #pinotrump Returning on Thursday - I conferenced in with supervisor to get caught up on the week; logged into systems I apparently still have access to and ran scripts to update an outward facing system with new information. Friday - researched and reported back on factors impacting data so managers can determine what they want reported and in what form. Now - you can get off my back.

Press release from the White House dated today, 1/17/2025: Statement from President Joe Biden on the Equal Rights Amendment I have supported the Equal Rights Amendment for more than 50 years, and I have long been clear that no one should be discriminated against based on their sex. We, as a nation, must affirm and protect women’s full equality once and for all. On January 27, 2020, the Commonwealth of Virginia became the 38th state to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment. The American Bar Association (ABA) has recognized that the Equal Rights Amendment has cleared all necessary hurdles to be formally added to the Constitution as the 28th Amendment. I agree with the ABA and with leading legal constitutional scholars that the Equal Rights Amendment has become part of our Constitution. It is long past time to recognize the will of the American people. In keeping with my oath and duty to Constitution and country, I affirm what I believe and what three-fourths of the states have ratified: the 28th Amendment is the law of the land, guaranteeing all Americans equal rights and protections under the law regardless of their sex.

Scottish Aye-Scotland's Haggis Winter Olympic Bobsled Team take advantage of 1st snow of '25, by hitting The Highlands for 1st practice session. Team is sons of the '88 Bobsled team, made famous in '93 film Haggis Runnings. They want to qualify for '26 Winter Olympics & bring gold to Scotland.

Dinners for Six - a small group where the women got to know each other and made the men join us for dinner once a month. Tonight was dinner at Entourage - very good. Fun staff - they let us get away with loudly singing "I want a hippopotamus for Christmas" and didn't kick us out.
Wagyu beef bolognese with crusty garlic bread. So good!
