Interesting, BPE sort of seems like a constrained form of hierarchical clustering with different merge semantics.

Maybe we're seeing just a local minima - teams have found a strategy that works well enough that no one wants to risk exploring alternatives. I wonder if an alpha-go like system could discover more effective strategies 🤔

Coming from Ubuntu, I found that the Aerospace tiling window manager was a perfect replacement for i3. Will take a look at karabiner 👀

I don’t do any R work these days, but i do miss ggplot2 and dplyr. Great libraries.

Didn’t know about Params - that’s a great idea. A quick call with an expert can save a tremendous amount of time.
