A neighbor kid made a whoop noise like a siren, and I ran to the end of the block worried for them.
I spoke with neighbors I don't know, exchanged numbers, locked doors, made plans, knowing that we'll need each other soon.
My heart raced all day. And that is just one day while working from home.
