I have such a hard time deciding whether the B&W is good enough to delete the color, or vice versa.

I can post phone pics, right? I can post phone pics. I've been taking walks around town this month and realizing maybe I could go for a photo walk sometime, even if it's just to take pictures of flowers. Cliche, but cliche for a reason! It's fun!

Tapas lunch at Rabbit in London with my friend Pete -- 2019. (My backlog goes back three years further than this so this isn't even that long ago by that metric.) I kind of wish more restaurants had Bluesky accounts so I could tag them but I also don't, so.
A farmhouse style restaurant with a large window, green curtains flanking it, and rustic wooden tables and chairs. If I recall correctly these were beet sticks of some kind and guac and it was really good. Only time I've had beet in my life I think. I have no clue what this was. A circular flan-like thing on a black plate with almonds atop it. A short glass with amber liquid in it. Maybe a Negroni?

Another thing to point out is that most if not all of my self-portraits are actively shot by another person -- I'm not a fan of remote controls. I still consider them self-portraits (occasionally with a co-photog) because I adjust absolutely everything -- the settings, the angle, my pose, the light.

To be clear, I have color versions of almost all of my black and white photos, because I like color. Sometimes the B&W just looks nicer, or gets rid of the fact that my bedroom walls are painted green, which is very distracting.

Misc drinks in Košice. [1/15, 15]
Coffee with whipped cream in a tall wine glass. A Cosmopolitan -- red cocktail in a martini glass with a twist of orange on the rim. Presumably, some kind of bourbon in a glass that says Borec. A flight of beers -- the first one is fully black, the second a dark red, and the other three are descending levels of golden brown.

Dinner at Le Coloniel [1/13, 1/14, 13-14] in Košice, Slovakia. One of my favorite dinners I've ever had.
A Christmas tree inside a restaurant. @rtwbarefoot I can't remember EXACTLY what Nel had, but it looks like potato pancakes and some kind of meat with sauce over it. I do however remember exactly what I had, which is lamb wrapped in prosciutto with a wild mushroom sauce. It was incredible.

Košice, Slovakia. December 2019. [1/9, 9] I am not used to snow; this may well be the first (and only) time I've ever seen it properly set.

Košice, Slovakia, December 2019. [1/7, 7] This is going to take a few skeets. I really love the photos I took in this little city. One of my favorite cathedrals I've ever seen, and just such a beauty of a place.

Day 6, cocktails in Bratislava and Budapest. Too sick to remember which is which or from where, but they were good!

Barcelona, May 2022. [1/2, 2] I wish I could teleport to the ocean whenever I wanted, but here we are. For the record, I set up a Ko-Fi account at ko-fi.com/kivrin, and I wanted to point out that prints are always available on request.
My feet (there's more where this came from, if any freaks -- affectionate -- are interested) atop the sea current laving over the wet sand beach. My feet are pale and rosy and you can see the bottom of my blue dress. A seascape taken in Castelldefels, a town near Barcelona. A blue sky with wisps of white clouds, and the calm ocean bracketing the bottom of the shot, with an island far in the distance to the right. Green leaves. Pretty self-explanatory.
