Hmm, 🇦🇺massive # of solar installations = 1/3 the cost of Canadian system. Plus so much excessive solar power that next year millions will get 3 hrs/day free electricity.
Oz environmental protection is 🐂💩, but in solar they are very far ahead of Canada

🇨🇦 not serious about green energy.
154.4% tariff on 🇨🇳 solar panels
1500 Canadians manufacturing solar panels 🤦
= millions of 🇨🇦 denied cheap green energy to protect a tiny, uncompetitive, industry.

🇦🇺 produces so much excess ⚡️, & 🏠 solar < 1/3 🇨🇦 price, that MILLIONS will have 3 hrs/day free.

Yes, BC is rolling out a program: news.gov.bc.ca/releases/202...

Unfortunately, zero programs for hospitals & schools … unless the patients and kids move to the chicken barns 🤪

A step in the right direction … but BC public health IPAC is archaic.

This was the CDC of BC’s hybrid immunity push, lead by Bonnie Henry 👎

And before recycling, EV batteries are reused for large-scale, affordable electricity storage.
Redwood repurposes 70% of N.A. EV batteries into modular energy storage systems, potentially supplying over 50% of the ENTIRE market with 500 GWh+.

If you got this far you've probably noticed the Ontario government has stopped making the report of the SARS Commission available. No doubt a perfectly innocent decision, unrelated to how embarrassing it is that they discarded it when COVID hit. 🫠

I appreciated your dashboard 👍

And I snuck in a few air purifiers to classrooms early on. Better than nothing, but not nearly as effective as a planned rollout.

And a cultural problem, per Dr Westrum’s BMJ study of information processing about safety in medicine and aviation, much of public health is Pathological or at best Bureaucratic.

I voted BC & Fed NDP > 20 yrs. BCNDP colossally fumbled. Their OWN policies aren’t laws of physics. They needed to recognize the implications + do *something in the last 8* years they’ve been in power. So much hubris + incompetence. Plenty of doc friends & family - I’m familiar with BC pub health.

It was the 1991 NDP, per the NDP MoH in her CBC interview, that set the policies to block immigrant docs + stopping BC docs from family medicine.

incompetent @bcndpcaucus.bsky.social, having been in power SINCE 2017 - did nada, zip, zero until 2024 to begin to rectify **their own policy mess**

In another article there’s mention of UV in addition which would help.

Anecdote, I know a US family that moved to Canada for school support for their autistic child. Apparently their state/city/school support (no idea how the US system works) is being defunded/removed/scaled down to such a degree the entire family moved 🤯
Glad to have them 👍🇨🇦

K12 probiotic (link) may be worth trying. Plus an Italian K12 school study in which 0 of the kids got COVID. Another study showed a 95% in strep infections.

Various supplements have good antiviral evidence, e.g. ginkgo biloba
