And Microsoft wonder why I stopped using Windows.

All I'm trying to do is download a Win10 ISO because there are bluetooth game controllers that I have that I can't update using anything but Windows. I am not using a VPN or any other proxy service.

Has anyone had any experience with CachyOS? I've heard a couple of things about it and I've just come into possession of an old ThinkPad that is a little underpowered. CachyOS seems to be fairly well equipped in that area but I got... vibes off the website a little (not least the sponsorship […]

Among my christmas gifts this year I have received four N64 games and two albums on vinyl (Blood Incantation's Absolute Elsewhere and Igorrr's Amen). I am quite confused as to what year it actually is.

If you're eating dog poo, then you've lost regardless of what you think you're "winning"

Well, that's it - after 30 years of interfering with computers I have no personal devices at all that are running #windows.

Feels good but also a bit sad that I've felt I had to do this. While my general preference is usually for open source software I'm certainly not religious about it and […]

Not a huge fan of the Arctic Monkeys, but goodness me I'm becoming more of a fan of Leprous as every day passes.

Some day I will remember to change out of my white t-shirts when I cook with tomatoes.

I think it says something that my brain immediately thought of a giant wicker man made of bread when I saw this headline.
Kingsmill to buy Hovis in move that would create UK's biggest bread producer
Warburtons is the current market leader and the deal needs approval from the competition watchdog.

Just looked at the Manchester "Originals" lineup for the game they won this evening.

Two of them currently play for Lancs, and neither of them were raised in or around Manchester. Neither of them play for Lancs regularly. All the others are either T20 mercs or younger players from other […]

#cat people of Mastodon - is there a relatively easy and non-cruel way to stop neighbourhood cats from pooing in my garden? Had to clean up 3 today and it's getting to the point where it's a risk to let the kids out there...
