3. Find a place and a person to track it with, ideally someone who also wants a type of change. Simply watching our small steps grow AND giving advice to another person to persevere are great ways to stay consistent AND connected.

2. Ask what 1% growth would look like. Knowing where we are starting from helps us pick the right size growing step. This may mean going from 1 jog a week to 2 jogs a week, from no writing time to 15 minutes twice this week.
Make it concrete.

1b. Choose something you have history of enjoying, and simply track it. Minutes of exercise, time spent talking to family, time doing something creative. Just see where you are, first.

1. Start with noticing where you are in an area you want to change. I also recommend picking a specific area that YOU care about, not that you feel you should care about. I like being able to go running when seasons change, so exercise is a good one to think about.
