Mom. Wife. Current #stage4 #coloncancer patient (dx in ‘19) Treatment is brutal, consuming, isolating, f-ing scary, & hopeful. I’m still here and trying. I have notes.

Something about #cancer life I didn’t know before I got sick: how wildly different our experiences can be. Even for the same #cancer. Even same cancer same stage.

We all deserve so much better than Musk and Trump, especially Lady Liberty and all the wonderful girls and women in our lives. Can’t believe this is the country we have become. We will rise and #Resist to protect fundamental freedoms and rights. LFG!!

What will kill me (this #coloncancer probably) will ALSO make me stronger- for a while. That strength deserves celebration too, right?
ps Need new competitive sport ideas. Whats gentler than #picklebalI? Last/only time I played I def dominated. then my chemo soaked joints screamed 4 days.

Another #art #commission experiment, seeking artists to help me visually demo some novel/isolating/intangible dimension, of my unexpected life as a mid aged #stage4 #cancer patient (& as a pathetic wife & mom) I gave text notes & also asked them to bring their own ideas and style to the work./1

I’m dying (lol) to explore parts of my cancer experience via visual art, but lack the skills. i hired some freelancers; gave a written description of a weird experience/feeling I hoped to convey, & after talking, asked them to bring their own ideas, style etc to the work. Results varied! /1
