Jokes aside it's at once completely unsurprising that Lachlann can use Soil Magic too, yet not something I considered them ever actually using. It being something they would do in a reflective "I need this thing to go away from me" way further shows a practiced/instinctive level of competence

Others have already suggested the sun or the sky, but perhaps something a layer down, like the wind/air or light. Air surrounds us and rushes in to fill any vacuum, but gales and storms can make seas trecherous. Light permeates all things, provides heat and energy, but too much is blinding

The Sea God and Soil God poking at eachother like children fighting over beachfronts and alcoves to spread their domain further. Unfortunately with sea level rise it seems that the Sea God is winning that fight, however the Soil God is transphobic so maybe it's a wash

On the one hand, I totally support this, on the other hand I don't want to admit to myself that SaS would stop getting updates/expansions on the setting.

To be fair, I think most people would have an immediate, primal, reaction to seeing someone like Oskar act like an apex predator. Oskar's half Siren as well, he doesn't flaunt it much but sirens are sort of known for demanding people's rapt attention.

The rare yet welcome glassesless Edward. Considering the magnification on those bad boys he's lucky he doesn't accidentally start fires when taking them off to clean them. Handy to have a microscope you can wear though.
