It’s a dated phrase that was overused and appropriately put to bed a while ago that means “I just learned”. I’m not sure if he thinks he’s funny or cool or smart by saying it but he’s none of the above and using that phrase seals it

Agreed. But somehow he thinks that being a political MAGA talking head carries clout among members of the media (I won’t even go down that hole) and to us. MAGA mouthpieces are a dime a dozen and he proves his stupidity every time he speaks/posts, hence his recent silence and absence.
